What is the closest international airport to Providence?
Boston’s Logan International Airport is the best airport to arrive if you are coming from Europe, parts of the Middle East or Africa. Most European airlines fly to New York as well. There, you would make a connecting flight to Providence. Those participants coming from Asia, Australia, and New Zealand would most likely arrive in the US via Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit or New York and make connecting flights to Providence’s T.F. Green airport. We recommend that you consult with your travel agent for the best prices.

If you plan on participating in one of the post Congress tours, you return flight should be from New York or Washington DC.

Will we be met at our point of arrival?
Hosts and hostesses will meet arriving EUHOFA participants at Boston’s Logan International Airport, T.F. Green airport in Providence, the Peter Pan Central Terminal in Pawtucket or the AMTRAK train station in Providence.

Is parking available at the hotel?
Parking at the hotel is very limited. Guests are asked to use the valet parking service. This services costs $25 USD per day.

I am a smoker. Can I request a smoking room?
Renaissance hotels, as are all Marriott hotels, are smoke-free. There is a fee of $250 USD imposed on the guest who smokes in his/her room or on the property.

I have dietary restrictions. How can I make this known to the congress organizers?
The registration form has a place where you can describe your dietary restrictions or allergies. We will do our best to accommodate those restrictions wherever possible.

I plan on arriving earlier than the Congress dates or staying a few days after the Congress. Can I book a room? What are the costs?
It is possible to arrive early or stay after the Congress. The fee is $250 USD per day which includes the room and full breakfast.

What type of clothing should I bring to accommodate the climate?
The Congress is being held in early November. Generally, the days are mild (@ 10-12 C / 50-55 F) and the evenings are cool (5-10 C / 40-50 F).

I plan on driving around the area after the congress. Are car hire services available nearby?
Our hosts/hostesses at the Hospitality Desk will be able to assist you to make car rental arrangements. All major rental agencies are available at T.F. Green Airport.

Pre-Post Congress Tours Please take advantage of the links provided to access tour operators who offer reasonably priced tours to New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and other destinations throughout the United States. If you plan a holiday before or after the Congress, we encourage you to enroll directly with the tour provider. If you provide the booking details for post-congress tours upon check-in, our hospitality staff will be pleased to help you to make arrangements for transport to your travel group on the day of departure. If you are planning a Pre-Congress tour, please schedule to conclude before November 7. Post-Congress tours can begin on or after November 12. You should feel free to consult with your own travel agency. There are often excellent land deals that can be coupled with your airline ticket purchase. We encourage early planning for Pre/Post-Congress tours.

Take Exit 22 A-B-C downtown/Hartford, CT
Bear left toward Exit 22B-C Providence Place Mall

Follow Providence Place Mall to the end and merge slightly left heading North towards the top of the hill (along the backside of Providence Place Mall)
After the second stoplight, make right turn onto the Avenue of the Arts.
